Mama’s Mercantile + Eatery presents Holiday Dinner & a Movie - a private, ticketed evening featuring a festive film, themed dinner, and (optional) cocktails inspired by the story on screen.

Movie and Dinner will begin at 7PM.

Dinner Only: $60/Guest
Dinner + Cocktail/Mocktail Pairing: $90/Guest

  • A $25 deposit will be taken upon reserving. The remaining balance will be paid on the day of the event along with additional drinks and gratuity.

December 7th

  • Nakatomi Plaza Shrimp – Chili garlic and ginger prawns with a chilled cucumber salad

  • Hans Gruber – Kasespaetzle, a German mac and cheese topped with fried onions, and fresh herbs

  • Now I Know What a TV Dinner Feels Like – Served in TV Dinner containers, whipped ricotta mash, blanched sugar snap peas, spiced beef meatloaf with a white pepper gravy.

  • Deep Fried Twinkie – Topped with fresh made whipped cream and a cherry reduction

Optional cocktail pairing:

  • Welcome to the Party – An elevated party punch made with fresh squeezed juices, house ginger syrup, bubbles, and fresh fruit

  • Come Out to the Coast – St Germain, lime, mint, and prosecco.

  • Roy Rogers – Traverse City Cherry Whiskey, house cherry syrup, and coca cola.

  • Ho Ho Ho – tequila, grand marnier, coconut, lime

December 16th

  • Weenie Whistle – Homemade pigs in a blanket featuring sausage from Washtenaw Meats with a stone ground mustard sauce for dipping

  • Business Lunch – fresh made Carosllo pasta tossed in a light herb packed tomato sauce. Served with a side Caesar salad, no dressing – just kidding tons of Mama’s Caesar dressing.

  • Burnt Turkey – confit turkey with a crispy turkey skin crackling over a rosemary scalloped potato

  • Lactose Intolerant Santa – A coconut milk panna cotta with strawberries and toasted coconut

Optional cocktail pairing:

  • Arose Such a Clatter – A rosé and rose cocktail

  • Bee Sting – Vodka, local honey, jalapeno and lemon.

  • Shots of Brown Liquor – A classicly prepared whiskey sour with fresh squeezed lemon juice, simple, and egg white.

  • Judy’s Cocoa – Homemade rich hot chocolate spiked with A2 Distilling’s Peppermint Schnapps and a fresh whipped cream topping

December 22nd

  • Pepper Jelly of the Month Dip – a cast iron pepper jelly cheesy dip served with toasted crostinis

  • Griswold Asparagus Christmas Tree – Asparagus sauteed with butter, garlic, and pine nuts. Served with crispy onions, pancetta, and lemon zest.

  • Steaming Turkey – a turkey pot pie with homemade buttermilk biscuit topping

  • Jello Mold – molded strawberry jello cheesecake with a pretzel crust

  • Cutting the Tree – Gin, citrus, Campari and vermouth

  • Aunt Bethanny – A sherry sour with brown sugar simple, lemon and egg white

Refunds available up to 48 hours before the event. After that, no refunds will be offered.
